Bro. you hit the nail on the head! With being created in the image of God, we have the attributes of God, which means we have the tendency to do everything! What happens in the silence when we realize we can do nothing? It’s at that moment that God begins to receive the Glory for everything! I have realized just this week when I do something, I tend to take the credit for it and by doing so I rob God of the Glory! God forgive me! It’s a vulnerable place to not be able to do anything about something! It’s like sitting in a chair, I trust the chair to hold me up so that I don’t fall! God is the chair and as long as I trust Him to hold me up I will never fall! Tim, your friendship means the world to me and by engaging in your friendship, I am a better person and a better friend! To God be the Glory!

Thanks for the Blog about doing nothing. This has been my experience with the Lord, too. In fact, I think that my doing nothing is actually the best “something” that I can offer to Him to show my complete Trust in Him that I will NOT make a move until He has made known to me which move He has for me. Isn’t God the most wonderful friend?

It such a relief to me to know that when I don’t know what to do that all he expects me to do is just stand….wow you mean I don’t have to be creative…I don’t have to try to read your mind…no…..just stand. When it comes to the bottom line it’s all about loving him…and when we love him we will trust him…..we will just stand in NOTHINGNESS. Tim, I just hope you realize that God is using you in such a mighty way in my family and I am so thankful for you and Kim….I have never been more excited about what God it doing in my life than I am right now….the best is yet to come! Incredible, Kel! You said it! Being vulnerable is not always easy but is so necessary in getting to a deeper place with Him and in reaching others. How can we reach hurting, broken people if we don’t show them the “real” person that we are? We are all covered in His grace and mercy and are forever recognizing our need of that in our lives!
